Day 1: Jaipur - Breakfast at hotel.
Reach Jaipur. A warm
welcome at the station/airport or hotel (if arriving by surface) by COMPASS
local tour manager.
JAIPUR - The origins of the
beautiful city of Jaipur can be traced back to the eighteenth century,
during the reign of Jai Singh II who ascended the Amber throne in 1699.
Jaipur characterize beautiful fusion of the tradition and modernity.
Popularly known as the Pink City because of the extensive use of the locally
abundant pink plastered stone, painted so in honor of the visit of the royal
consort of Queen Victoria. Jaipur thrills the soul with its massive forts,
magnificent palaces, exquisite temples and lush gardens.

2: Jaipur - Breakfast at hotel.
Proceed for morning excursion to
Amber Fort. Elephant ride ascent to the fort.
AMBER FORT
PALACE - Amber is the classic romantic Rajasthani fort palace. Its
construction was started by Man Singh I in 1592, and completed by his
descendent Jai Singh I. It's forbidding exterior belies an inner paradise
where a beautiful fusion of Mughal and Hindu styles finds it's ultimate
expression.
Proceed for morning sight-seeing of Jaipur covering
the important palaces and monuments.
CITY PALACE - A
delightful blend of Mughal and traditional Rajasthani architecture, the City
Palace sprawls over one-seventh of the area in the walled city. It houses
the Chandra Mahal, Shri Govind Dev Temple and the City Palace Museum.
JANTAR
MANTAR - This is the largest and the best preserved of the five observatories
built by Jai Singh II in different parts of the country. This observatory consisting
of outsized astronomical instruments is still in use.
HAWA MAHAL - The ornamental facade of this "Palace
of Winds" is a prominent landmark in Jaipur. Its five-storey structure
of sandstone plastered pink encrusted with fine trelliswork and elaborate
balconies. The palace has 953 niches and windows.

Day 3: Jaipur - Bikaner - By
road covering 361 km in 6hr.
Breakfast at hotel. Proceed to Bikaner.
Reach Bikaner and check in at hotel.
The royal fortified
city with a timeless appeal. Lying in the north of the Desert State, the
city is dotted with many sand dunes. Bikaner retains the medieval splendor
that pervades the city's life-style. More popularly called the camel
country, the city is renowned for the best riding camels in the world. . The
wells of Bikaner - an important source of water are other attractions of the
city.
Relax in the evening. Overnight at Bikaner.
Day 4: Bikaner - Breakfast at hotel.
Proceed for Jodhpur.
Reach and check in at hotel. Proceed for sight-seeing tour of Bikaner.
Rao Bikaji, a descendant of Jodhaji - the founder of Jodhpur, founded
this desert town in the North of the state in 1488. Visit the Junagarh Fort,
constructed between 1588 and 1593 by Raja Jai Singh, a general in the Moghul
Emperor Akbar's army.
Visit the camel-breeding farm - the only
one in Asia.
Overnight at Bikaner.
Day
5: Bikaner - Kolayat - Gajner - Excursion by road covering 45 km in 1hr
each way
Proceed to Kolayat after breakfast. It is situated 45 km
South- West of Bikaner. Kolayat--originally Kapilayatan--named after the
sage Kapil who is believed to have done 'tapasya' (meditation) here for the
redemption of mankind.
A large number of people come to Kolayat
to redeem themselves by taking holy dips in the Kolayat Lake throughout the
year, but it is considered very auspicious to take a dip on Kartik Purnima.
The lakeside is dotted with temples.
Sight-seeing and spend the
day at Kolayat. Proceed to Gajner. Check in at Gajner Palace.
Day 6: Gajner - Spend day at Gajner.
The colorful turbans of
its inhabitants sparkle like speckles of colored dust. The little town of
Gajner is like an oasis in the royal land. It offers a fresh retreat from
the hot and humid land of Rajasthan. To hold the tourist's attraction, it
also has a lake, woods and a palace. Gajner Palace Built by Maharaja Ganga
Singh of Bikaner, the Gajner Palace Hotel, is situated near a lake and is
surrounded by a lush forest. Its copious wooden fringes attract an
innumerable variety of feathered species.

Day 7: Gajner - Jaipur - By road covering 380 km in 7hr.
Breakfast in hotel at leisure.
Start for Jaipur. Reach in time
for flight or train to the next destination or stay overnight in Jaipur as
per itinerary.
